नमस्ते! Meet Omkar Chalke, Kaedim’s Head of 3D.
All the way from Pune, India, Omkar holds the distinction of being Kaedim’s very first 3D artist. He started out as a QA artist, then transitioned into a Technical 3D Artist—and today, he leads our entire global 3D team. His day-to-day includes onboarding and training new artists, managing the team’s workflows, and building the documentation and structure that keep everything running smoothly.
Kaedim was also Omkar’s first official job. Before joining the team, he worked as a freelancer, focusing on highly detailed 3D car models for sim racing games.
He’s a big fan of open-world RPGs like Red Dead Redemption 2, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, and The Witcher 3, and he leans toward realistic art styles similar to the ones found in those games. Outside of work, Omkar enjoys biking, traveling, and playing football. One of his more unique hobbies is welding—something he picked up back in school.
It’s been more than just 3D modeling—I’ve learned how to manage a large, global team. The most important part has been leaning into the team itself. There’s always something to learn from the people around you.
Back in college, when people asked where I worked and I said Kaedim, they usually had no idea what it was. I’d love for us to grow into a name that gets instant recognition—like Amazon or Google, so that when I answer that question again, it gets a great reaction.
