Meet Ivy, Operations Lead at Kaedim.
Born and raised in Malaysia, Ivy’s day-to-day includes interviewing new candidates, building workflows to improve how the team works, and collaborating closely with the 3D team to keep projects on track. She works across departments to make sure communication flows and nothing falls through the cracks.
Her first-ever job was as a Sales Coordinator for a sales and marketing agency in San Diego. She traveled to retail stores like Costco, doing live demos and speaking with over 100 people a day—selling everything from massage guns to garden sheds and vacuum cleaners.
Her favorite games of all time are The Sims 4 and Bully, and she’s drawn to Cthulhu-inspired art styles as well as the semi-realistic look of games like Elden Ring. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, playing the drums, and installing new game mods.
Being part of a global team has shown me how important cultural literacy really is. We come from so many different backgrounds, and understanding those differences—especially when it comes to people management—makes all the difference in how we work together.
There’s a really strong sense of community here. We’re a team of 70+ across the world, all connected by a shared love of AI, 3D, and games. And we’re constantly learning—from each other, from our work, and sometimes even from the languages we speak.
