Γειά σου! Meet Ioanna, one of Kaedim’s very first founding engineers.

Bio 🇬🇷

Born and raised in Greece, Ioanna joined Kaedim when there were more bugs than features and has been deep in the trenches ever since—solving problems, starting (and solving) the occasional fire, and figuring it all out as she goes. Her day-to-day is best described in her own words: “organized chaos.” Whether she’s experimenting with new AI tools (her current favorite is Claude), building backend systems, or wrangling the unexpected, Ioanna is always in the thick of it. In fact, her days are so hectic she used Claude to help write this bio.

First job

Kaedim was also her very first job in software engineering. She describes her entry into the industry as being “thrown into the deep ocean to learn how to swim”—a crash course in real-world engineering that’s shaped her into the developer she is today 🌊.

Favorite Games, Art Style, and Hobbies

Her favorite game of all time is Breath of the Wild. While she’s partial to saying Kaedim’s 3D models are her favorite art style, she has a soft spot for pixel art and stylized low-poly games. Outside of work, she lives by her holy trinity: music, movies, and games.

What is the biggest lesson you’ve learned while working at Kaedim?

Most of what I know about coding, I learned here. I came in with the basics and just had to figure things out—fast. I’ve learned that things will break, git will betray you, and “it works on my machine” doesn’t help anyone at 2 a.m. But I’ve also learned that you can keep up, grow fast, and build real things—even if it feels like chaos sometimes.

What’s something you wish people knew more about Kaedim?

What goes on behind the curtain. Our 3D models are the result of some sophisticated AI work and an insanely dedicated 3D team. Everyone here cares a lot, even when things look smooth on the outside.
